OpenAI released ChatGPT apps a couple of days ago. The basic idea is to allow the LLM to have access to visual tools and widgets, that allows users to purchase products directly from the chat, and show other widgets, such as illustrated below.
The point is that the above simple contact us form could be anything, including a checkout cart, a Google Maps location, or a Calendly integration.
Create AI apps with AI
I’m actually surprised that OpenAI didn’t release a “vibe coding” stack for these apps. It’s not really that difficult. In fact, I implemented it into Magic in a couple of days myself.
However, as you can see in the above video, with our framework you can perfectly create AI apps using nothing but natural language.
Marketing Agency apps
Marketing agencies have a never ending thirst for apps. Whenever they’re marketing some event, they‘ll often create apps that allow them to collect names, emails, etc. After the event, the app is just tossed away.
Needless to say, but that’s an expensive process. Few of us can assign a developer to work for a couple of weeks, for then to use the result for a couple of days, and just throw it away afterwards. But the point is that agencies don’t actually care about the app. The data it collects is what they’re looking for.
With Magic Cloud you can create such micro apps in seconds, inject the app into an AI agent, and start using it in 5 minutes. You can also create landing pages to host said apps. Below is a screenshot of the process of creating such apps.
