Midjourney’s switching to alternating weekly office hours: product teams one week, David the next. That’s how developers spread the workload.
The immediate releases sound promising. User Profiles are coming, along with a new Style Creator featuring a grid-based interface. After weeks of testing, they identified some limitations, but it’s still powerful enough to replace the current pair-comparison system for personalization.
V7.1 is in limbo. They’re considering whether to add real-time preview capabilities or just focus on performance improvements with some V8 dataset training thrown in. I’m not seeing this as urgent given what’s next.
