Not sure which would give me the best access to care and protect me long term:
I have the option to withdraw money from retirement to pay my tuition (I am not eligible for the college health plan) and stay on my open market plan, because retirement money counts as income, OR keep the medicaid plan I was just approved for.
I have several prescriptions that I need, which seem to be mostly covered by Medicaid.

How hard is it to see a provider in the Triangle area? Are prescriptions filled through Medicaid even if the provider is not a Medicaid provider in NC?
I don't know how the system works, and already it's very confusing, but it's much cheaper for me on Medicaid. With the funding cuts and access to care getting harder, what would y'all choose?
