Hi to all, so I am just in this venture of watching great movies of all time, Imdb as my reference. Social media has greatly increased the chance of knowing major plots in a movie right, so I see reels and posts about Dead Poets Society but I haven't really watched it yet. I decided to watch it now, and wow I had no idea that Neil Perry will actually take his life. That scene was heavy… I was devastated. ALL this time, those who have watched the movie and liked it are carrying this weight? Also carrying this great masterpiece in their hearts and minds? I am so glad I watched the movie and experienced all scenes raw and really feeling everything for the first time. Great acting and actors. For it to be made in 1989 but hold this much artistry and depth in how its portrayed is the reason why I like cinema so much. It's timeless!! I now understand why it's in Top 7. That's all, I really just wanna share what I feel. <3
