Recently started Fo3 and immediately noticed how much darker, grittier and more realistic dialogue is to most modern releases, which tend to avoid sensitive topics or be overly gritty/realistic in order to be more approachable for audiences I guess. Unless I don't remember or know of any modern popular (released in the last 5 years) titles that still do this.
AC: Shadows felt like an extremely castrated NPC-to-player-dialogue when compared to KCD for example. I don't yearn for racism or sexism obviously, but it's just immersion breaking imo, considering the time period the world was in back then.
