By skyforbes As much as I like Morgan Freeman he always basically plays the, "sweet old man" in most of his movies which feels like his real life personality. From Shawshank Redemption, to Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, to Se7en, he always played the kind/sweet old man role no matter if he's in prison, or a cop, or working for Batman, etc. He was also on Coming 2 America 2 recently in the same type of role.
I was just thinking back to most of Morgan Freeman's roles and he just kinda plays himself most of the time with maybe a few exceptions. It really feels like filmmakers say, "It's Morgan Freeman" and he'll basically play himself no matter what role he has in a movie.
