Dyslexic kid – recommendations?

Howdy all. Gaming dad here. My gaming wife and I have created a pair of gaming kids. The younger (daughter, age range 7-10) is smart but pretty dyslexic. She’s getting help, but reading is a struggle.

She wants to play games. Whilst mom & dad & brother are gaming away on steam deck, she’s got a kindle fire and she wants to play… garbage casual games. Toca Boca, fruit ninja, Fluvsies, etc. In short, kinda trash.

Mom wants to get her something better for gaming for Christmas. I need recommendations. We thought about a switch (1 or 2) but I’m a little hesitant on buying into the Nintendo ecosystem at this point. We’ve also thought about trying to set her up on one of the steam decks.

I need recommendations for games that don’t really require reading, whether they’re fully voiced or just non-verbal in their exposition. I’m hoping to elevate her gaming experience beyond casual gamer shlock. Any thoughts?

Edit: she’s a girly girl, so bonus points for cute
