An error I encountered while starting on LUIS / Bing Speech, is that the procedure for a package called “SpeechRecognition” on NuGet produced an error on runtime.
So the way to solve this would be to use a windows 8 and above machine or virtual machine to continue your development. This library apparently relies on something that only Windows 8 and above have.
