Software Malfunction
While using the ‘webcam/video capture device’ source or ‘ PRISM camera’ source in PRISM, the following contents are checked through the notification window and the app is forcibly terminated.
★ Cause of problem
PRISM is not working properly because an error occurred inside ksproxy.ax.
ksproxy.ax is a module of one of the Microsoft systems and is a DirectShow filter.
★ Solutions
- Make sure your Windows version is up to date and try updating it if it is not. For detailed method, search by entering ‘check for updates’ in Windows Search. You can check the version on the Windows Update screen and install the latest version.
- Try updating the driver for your camera device or capture card. The update method is different for each device, so please contact the device manufacturer or check the device official site for details.
