So I normally use my Ubuntu machine for development.
But recently I needed to help my friend to set up a development environment on Windows.
Other than many WSL(Windows Services for Linux) problems we faced a problem while running docker-compose.
So I wanted to share what is that.
When we run it we have seen “Error while fetching server API version” and the problem was although it seems the docker service running in windows services; actually it wasn’t running.
The solution was simple but weird.
We needed to start “Docker Desktop for Windows” then the problem is gone.
