Today’s experiment: launching a faceless YouTube channel.
No camera. No makeup. No curated persona. Just voice, visuals, and value.
It sounded doable — until the tide of doubt rolled in.
“This is a dumb idea.” “No one will take you seriously.”
Those thoughts didn’t come from strangers. They came from me. From the part of me that’s been burned by unfinished projects, financial wreckage, and the slow, brutal aftermath of addiction.
Here’s what I told that voice:
I’m already living in the wreckage. I’m in recovery. I’ve left behind a trail of half-built dreams. My finances are in ruins. And even if no one watches, even if this journey is mine alone, something good has to come from trying — anything — to shift the trajectory. Because doing nothing means drowning in regret, minute by minute.
(Dramatic? Maybe. But if I laid out my daily habits in detail, this would feel like an understatement.)
So I’m starting. Not because I’m confident. Not because I have a polished plan. But because I need to prove to myself that effort still matters. That trying — even imperfectly — is better than staying stuck.
This blog will document the process. The wins, the flops, the emotional landmines. I’ll share what works, what doesn’t, and what it costs to chase passive income when you’re rebuilding your life from the ground up.
