I like running RP scenarios with 3-4 characters at once. Most AI platforms either can't handle it at all, or they start blending the characters together after a while. Character A starts talking like Character B, or they forget who knows what information.
Tried this on Tavern multiple times and it always fell apart by message 30-40. The characters would lose their distinct voices and it'd just feel like talking to one AI pretending to be multiple people (which, yeah, it is, but it shouldn't feel that way).
Tested JuicyChat last week with a scenario involving four different futa characters. Each one had a different personality, background, and speaking style. Ran it for about 100 messages.
What actually worked: They kept their distinct voices throughout. Character A stayed formal and reserved, Character B stayed playful and teasing, Character C maintained their aggressive edge, Character D kept being the diplomatic one.
More importantly, it tracked relationship dynamics between them. When Character A and B had tension from an earlier scene, that carried through. Character C's secret that only Character D knew stayed contained properly.
On Tavern, by message 50 they'd all start sounding the same. On Chub it was better but still inconsistent.
The free tier is only 10 messages so you can't really test this properly without subbing. Premium is $12.99 which feels worth it for this specific feature.
Anyone else tried complex multi-character scenes? Does it hold up past 150 messages or does it eventually blend them?
