By skyforbes At first I was surprised that it couldn’t read the docs or sheets I uploaded. I sent them again and later in the conversation it somehow managed to read them, so that was a bit odd. Overall, I was actually quite pleased with the conversation until I sent two images for comparison and asked for its opinion.
That’s where it went wrong. It replied as if it had seen the images and described them, but it was clearly just guessing based on what I’d written. I caught it saying things that were completely wrong. When I pointed it out, it apologised and admitted it couldn’t actually see the images and had basically assumed everything.
After that I tried sending the same images again, only for it to tell me it doesn’t have the ability to view images…Like… seriously?
I think I’m coming back to ChatGPT.
