For Users in India: Download a VPN now….

I totally understand the absolute frustration you must be going through (if you’re a user in India). Medium is not working in India.

This morning when I tried logging into my Medium account, it popped this page —

I was left flabbergasted. Fortunately I have a third party VPN app on my phone. I turned it on and voila! Medium was back.

The official page of Medium claims that it has no control over the blocks that happen on ISP (Internet Service Provider). So for commoners like you and me who use Airtel and Jio data relentlessly, we’re stuck.

However, it’s not the end of the world. I don’t know how long this will remain inaccessible but till then kindly set up a VPN. For Android users, you can install VPN super unlimited proxy and for IOS users download NordVPN or VPN for iPhone. This way you can continue to write on Medium, especially if you recently had a writing tic and wanted to spill it over Medium.

Also, if you have a VPN set up on a laptop, you’re lucky- no stress. But if you’re someone like me who doesn’t have one, you might have to bear the Medium app and write on the phone.
