Foreigner and Lynyrd Skynyrd announced a co-headlining US tour today featuring zero original members

The “Ship of Theseus Tour” was announced today.
Neither of these bands have any original members. This is fascinating to me. What are you going to see when you see live music? The band? The songs? At what point is a band still a band? Are bands “franchises” at this point? Does it matter who’s playing the songs? If this thing sells well enough what happens next?
