So my wife was in an accident and has some persistent concussion symptoms still lingering. The biggest issue is some of the games we love will make her dizzy/motion sick or give her headaches now.
The main problems we've found, through experimenting, are first person cameras, which are easy enough to work around; and vibrant colour palettes, excessive flashing and strobing, and quick brightness changes, which are a little harder to mitigate.
Examples of games she can play- Hogwarts Legacy, Stardew Valley
Examples she can't play- Borderlands 4 (the colours/visuals took her out before the FPS view), Panic In The Woods.
We are going to experiment with Skyrim in 3rd person view later. In the mean time, are there any other games we can look at in the rpg genre that have subdued colour palettes and will give a decent amount of play time?
Alternatively, is there anything I can do, as far as external visual filters or anything like that to help make things more playable?
TIA
