By skyforbes Coming from Claude Code, I’ve been having issues adjusting to Gemini.
I’ve tried the CLI, I’ve tried AntiGravity. Both seemed subpar when it comes to planning and executing exactly what is planned and tool calling.
The cli in particular was a shock. Is there really no built in plan mode? You give it a prompt and it just goes buck wild making my code base without any approvals.
I like the results of the new models over Claude and codex, but it seems Google is still behind on tools even though it seems they are trying to make an effort with antigravity.
Am I just doing it wrong or does everyone else have a similar experience?
