I put the paid version of ChatGPT up against Google’s Gemini (specifically the developer version via AI Studio) to see if "free" could actually beat "premium."
We ran three distinct tests:
1️⃣ Computer Vision: Identifying ingredients in a fridge to generate a recipe.
2️⃣ Complex Planning: Organizing a 3-day budget trip to Stockholm.
3️⃣ EQ & Corporate Comms: Handling a demanding email from a boss on a Friday night.
The results were surprising. Not only did Gemini identify the image details more accurately (it spotted the cheese when ChatGPT saw butter!), but it also didn't crash during the heavy processing tasks.
