I'm using ChatGPT dictation and copy/paste to Gemini. I'm transitioning to Gemini as the basic pro plan is much better for coding compared to GhatGPT plus, but having to use other dictation is kinda silly. No idea why it's so bad on Gemini. There is probably a lot of people who do the same thing and right now it's probably main thing that prevents me from transitioning fully.
Oh also, if I understand it right, if you want chat history, you need to share your data, which is realy shady and bad tactic to force users to share their data.
If I'm paid user, I want to have an option whether I share data or not and have chat history This actually leaves bad taste in my mouth and is probably more shitty tactic than anything openAI did. So now I'm paying user who has zero chat history, so I can't go back to any of my previous chats. Ridiculous.
Thinking about it, if ChatGPT gets better again, I probably switch back, because this single thing tells me everything about how Google would treat their customers if they were the dominant company on the market.
