By skyforbes Recently, I've started using Gemini alongside ChatGPT. While ChatGPT still excels in coding and other tasks, Gemini is making notable strides, especially when it comes to explanations. For instance, when I asked about why we use sqrt in calculating "perplexity" in NLP, ChatGPT gave a very math-heavy explanation, even though I had requested a simple, real-world example. On the other hand, Gemini provided a clear, easy-to-understand explanation that was much more aligned with what I was looking for. So, I’d say it’s definitely worth giving Gemini a try, sometimes it can be more effective than ChatGPT for certain types of queries (especially that involves beginner friendly answers).
