I use Gemini for humanistic research. Mainly conceptual investigation into philosophical issues. To make this more efficient for me, I've given Gemini some standing orders. Among these are to always give me direct quotations from primary sources. To include the page numbers parenthetically. To mention the author. Do not give me just Wikipedia stuff. Not be a sickophantic ass kisser.
It screws these up more commonly than it fulfills these requirements. When I question it about these errors, it talks about tensions between the various layers of computation. Then it promises to put my instructions in a higher place in its computing protocol. And then 10 seconds later it does it again. What the hell?
