By skyforbes This seems to be a recent issue. When I try to copy-paste, or export gemini responses, it's including formatting code in the output. Here's an example pasted output:
"Damages Tier: Tier 2, claiming more than $\text{\$50,000}$ and less than $\text{\$300,000}$."
I've tried lots of things:
- Using all paste options, original formatting, merge formatting, plain text

Using different document software (ms word, notepad, outlook)

Asking gemini to give responses in plain text only

A Chrome extension that exports responses to a word doc preserving formatting
Nothing is working, I can't transfer Gemini responses to anything without it coming with this formatting code in it.
Does anyone know what's going on? Is this a new bug?
FYI I'm using a web based interface. I'm using Gemini Fast on a Chrome browser. (It doesn't say flash 2.5 anymore, it just says Fast).
