5 degree variation is a kind of big variation, but mind you, no model I have ever tested has been this close, in drawing angles, let alone drawing them with this kind of precision.
I used Ibis paint and a real image of a protractor taken from web, made it transparent(extract line drawing feature), and measured the angles.
The measurement method should be precise enough.

Google currently has thrown the competition out of water. And this is huge, really really huge. It shows nano banana pro can reason to an extent. Yes the angles are not too precise, but think of it this way, tell an average human to draw 81 degrees without protractor. They won't be precise either. This was just to tell you why it's so impressive. It's only going to improve from here
