I was trying out the new ChatGPT Go plan, and it clearly showed “Free Go Plan” on the screen. But while setting up the RBI e-mandate, I got charged ₹400 instantly.
Now it says my subscription is active for one month, which means it wasn’t just a verification hold it actually billed me.
I’m a bit confused because I thought it was supposed to be free (or at least just a ₹1 mandate check).
Has anyone else in India faced this? Did you get a refund ?
