5.1-codex-max seems to be a game changer – and right after Gemini 3.0 (and Grok 4.1), no less.
Compaction supposedly allows it to reason across millions of tokens — it should be able to support much larger refactors and longer running tasks than before.
Just getting around to using it in Codex now: anyone have any first impressions?
