Guardians of the Galaxy was such a fun experience.

I got the game when it was part of the monthly bundle from Humble Bundle a year ago but it was only recently that I actually played. Partly was because my PC that I used for AAA gaming got broken and I had to use a very old laptop.

It was only recently that I got a better gaming laptop that I decided to play the game. The game was definitely fun. I went into it with no expectations and my knowledge of the group was from MCU's GOTG. And I was blown away.

I have to say, I prefer the game version compared to the MCU version (though I still haven't watched the 3rd movie yet). I feel like their characters are written better in the game. I loved all of their interactions. though there are times in the game that I hated the scenes where Rocket messes up things once in a while. The banters are funny even if there a lot of it. My main complain is that some conversations cut off if you reach certain areas in the game. I would love it if the game would stop it but continue it when you are done with the other things.

The story is good. It gets better the longer it goes. It did not bore me at all. Heck, I was actually forcing myself to stop playing cause I need to rest. If it wasn't for my work, I would have binged played this game cause I was interested on what would happen in the story.

As for the combat, I think it is the weakest part of the game. It's serviceable and playable. Although, I liked the idea of only using Peter and giving orders to the other members on what to do during battles. I dunno how broken it will be, but I would prefer if all skills won't go on cooldown when you use one of their skills.

All in all, it was great 19 hours experience with the game and it was worth it my money to purchase the bundle just for this game. Definitely recommend it.

Just sharing one of the best scenes in the game. Definitely made me like Peter Quill more.
