5 years ago, a few months after the release of HL:A, Rocket Lab launched their Electron rocket on the “Return to Sender” mission. In addition to several other satellites, the rocket carried a titanium 3d print of Gnome Chompski into a 500km 97.3° Sun Synchronous orbit.
