By skyforbes In the past week or two Gemini is refusing to answer questions on topics it answered before. "This is not something I can help you with. Let's try another topic." I've been using Gemini for a year and a half and before recently I can't remember ever getting this kind of response. I also can't update an existing Gem (some error displays for a half second and then it says failed to update.) I suspect something in my Gem instructions is triggering the Nanny.
I may need to go back to ChatGPT as my primary.
Edit: issue ended up being Google recently implementing age verification and defaulted the account to under 18. Not sure why it took so long for it to prompt me to verify my age.
