By skyforbes I never thought I’d have to write something like this, but I’m at a point where I really need a little help. I’m not someone who takes advantage of others I do work hard every day but the truth is, what I earn just isn’t enough right now. I have two amazing kids who mean the world to me, and it breaks my heart when I can’t always give them what they deserve.
I’m doing everything I can applying for better jobs, cutting back where possible, and using SNAP to help with school lunches and groceries but it only stretches so far. I’m not asking for much; even a few dollars can make a difference. I’ll leave my Cash App below, but if anyone prefers, a food delivery with fruits, veggies, or meat would also be such a blessing. We don’t eat a lot of junk food; I just want to make sure my kids have real meals.
When I’m not working or taking care of my kids, I help my mom, who’s battling stage 4 cancer. Some days feel heavy, but I try to stay strong for everyone around me. I hate having to ask, but I’d rather swallow my pride than let my children go hungry.
