By skyforbes I’m just watching Home Alone 2 again for the Christmas season, and there are some things I want to get off my chest.
Firstly, it shows Donald Trump doing the only good thing he’s ever done for humanity by showing Kevin how to get to the hotel lobby.
Kevin’s parents also must be completely loaded. I know this is talked about a lot, when people mistakenly say he paid for the trip to Paris in 1 (his brother did), he does still pay for a trip for 14 people to go to Florida. Although not the nicest accommodations (this part is never super clear, I think they booked it based on Franks recommendation cause he stayed there on his honeymoon). AND they fly from Florida to New York last minute with the same 13 people. And this doesn’t even discuss their house, which just sold for 5.5 million.
Kevin’s suit at the Plaza isn’t nearly as much. From the paper it shows a nightly rate of 355, that’s about 820 dollars by today’s rate. Pretty cheap for what they call one of their finest suites, which today has a price tag of up to 40,000.
Also, what’s with the hotel staff being so shady. Long before they found out the card was stolen, they were going through the bags, and searching the room for literally no reason. I get they’re not actually bad guys, but still dicks.
I won’t talk about Kevin being dumb, because they do try and cover their tracks on why he didn’t do certain things like calling the cops.
