How do I get this thing to forget details I’ve told it?

I apologise as I'm entirely out of the loop on how it works, what the issues are, basically everything that would help me to understand the problem I'm having.

No matter what I try, no matter how many times it's told me it's cleared stored memories, no matter how many times I clear my app storage… I've follow the instructions it's given me multiple times, and maybe for a new chat or two it remembers to tell me it's no longer got my data, but by the third time I ask it, it just reels off everything I asked it to forget…

Is this normal? I apologise because the steps I've taken are not detailed here but I've done so many of them that I've completely lost track of what I've tried.

I would post the chat that shows me it remembers but it's embarrassing as I talk to it as if it's my personal assistant and therapist and partner in introspection, so. If I can avoid showing you the results, that would be ideal. I may be able to find examples that aren't devastatingly personal to share if that's helpful.

I know I could delete my account but it seems non-productive as I'll just sign up and have this same issue again in 6 months.

It's not necessarily a problem, I just feel confused.
