How Reliable Are Customer Service Reviews?

This is a major question of concern when we’re trying to find a new doctor’s office, roofing company or phone provider. Even if businesses didn’t pay for good reports, and even if their competitors didn’t pay for slander against their rivals — how can we assess the reliability of online Customer Service reviews?

Some people have great experiences with certain businesses, while others have crappy, terrible, awful experiences with the same places. We have no way of knowing, ahead of time, which group we are going to wind up in.

Some of the reviewers are experienced, intelligent people who know exactly what they are talking about. Others may have been dazed and confused, unable to properly process the information they were given. But their reviews appear side by side.

Where can we go to find a review of the reviewers? How do we know who these people really are?

The person reporting a terrible experience with a medical practice may be your exact twin, regarding your condition and allergies and health history. Or she may be living with a set of circumstances that you will never know. The practice might be perfectly acceptable for your needs.

However can you tell?

It makes as much sense as anything does, to hold your crystal Pendulum over each printed review, and see which way it swings. Which ones resonate with your personal vibes?

The more I think about it, the more this seems to be the best solution!

Either that, or don’t bother reading the reviews at all. They’re just more digital noise that you don’t need in your life.
