By skyforbes So I often use chatgpt to write my cv and cover letter because where I live, we need to tweak these things for each and every role. The thing is, I am very cautious about what screenshots I put into chatgpt. At times, it has gotten my first name because I pasted a screenshot of my PC screen but I dont know if it actually linked the name to me. Other than that I always crop images or colour my name and other imp details before pasting it in to chatgpt.
Any time, I ask it to write my cover letter, it will do so and sign it off as :
"Best Regards,
(Your name)"
Today, however, it actually wrote my whole name. I went back to check all my recent screenshots again and thoroughly and none of them reflect my name anywhere.
My question is how the fuck did it do that? Was it able to link my cv data with linkedin maybe and get my name from there? I asked chatgpt about this but it said that I shared it with it but the it pointed to an image that actually does not have my name.
