When I first opened ChatGPT Projects, I was confused.
Was it a folder? A workspace? Another AI experiment?

It’s all of that — and once you understand how to use it, Projects becomes a creative partner that actually remembers what you’re doing.

What ChatGPT Projects Actually Are

Projects are persistent workspaces where ChatGPT stores your chats, files, and context together.
Each Project keeps its own memory, personality, and materials.

Think of it as a mix between a folder, a notebook, and an intelligent collaborator who knows your goals, tools, and style.
