By skyforbes It's one of these "cartel crosses its paths with a noname older ex-operator/military/cop guy leaving peacefully in a remote location" plots. But it's done so by the numbers, so soullessly it fucking angers me.
Sofia Hublitz, girl from Ozark seems to be display best acting here but she's just a plot device, Mel doesn't even have a single scene where he would show some skills that make him a badass script makes him, you just have to belive he is.
Script reminds me of stories we wanted to film with my friends back in early college, it's naive, predictable and silly. Main antagonist is severely underused and killed off casually during the final spectacular 43 seconds showdown.
It's really not so bad it's good. It's so bad it's unwatchable.
Do yourself a favor and watch some great Mel's action films from the past instead.
