I am trying to teach myself new skills, an I am questioning how reliable Chat GPT is and how reliable the information I am getting is

So long story short, I bought a gaming laptop because I wanted a laptop with hardware that was capable of doing map creation in Fortnite, as well as gaming and app development, video editing, etc.

I want to teach myself new skills and I was going to use ChatGPT as like my assistant to help teach myself what I don’t know.

Anyways I was trying to set up this new computer and in the process of trying to set this thing up and configure my settings and stuff, ChatGPT keeps insisting that my graphics card is not what it says is in my laptop. In my task manager and most everywhere else it says my laptop is using a RTX 5050 graphics card, but ChatGPT keeps insisting that it’s an older model, an RTX 2050.

I’m not sure how reliable the information is that I’m getting from this is, and I don’t know where to go to find reliable information. I just want to know where can I go to or if there are any AI assistants that are actually reliable that I can use to teach myself new skills and information.
