I did a test if ChatGPT or any AI can replace me?

People ask me all the time if AI is going to replace developers, especially in a new, complex field like blockchain. My answer is always the same: AI is a powerful tool, but it’s not a replacement. After deploying over 23 full-scale decentralized applications (dApps), I’ve seen firsthand what AI can do and, more importantly, what it can’t. AI can write code, but it can’t feel the pressure of a multi-million-dollar smart contract audit. It can search for answers, but it can’t innovate a solution to a problem that’s never been solved before. My career is not on the line; it’s being enhanced. But that doesn’t mean the journey has been easy.

My path as a blockchain developer has been a mix of exhilarating wins and soul-crushing challenges. The easiest part of my job isn’t the coding itself; it’s the sheer pace of innovation and the abundance of resources available. When I started, blockchain was the wild west. Today, there’s a thriving ecosystem of open-source tools, comprehensive documentation, and a global community of developers ready to help. The low barrier to entry for building a simple dApp is incredible. Anyone can pick up Solidity or Rust, find a tutorial, and deploy a basic smart contract in a few hours. The tools and frameworks we have now, from Hardhat to Foundry, have abstracted away so much of the low-level complexity that building a functional…
