I played Far Cry 3 a long while ago, I got right up to where you kill hoyt, and then whenever I tried to login to Ubisoft Connect it wouldn't work. I used the exact same password and email I had wrote down and worked just fine before, but now I couldn't get in. About a year later, I decide screw my progress, I'll just start from scratch, so I download it on steam again, have a new ubi connect account I can actually log into, and it says the game is linked to a different account. I try to reset the password but they don't send the email to my outlook. then after trying to use it with my new one and seeing if they'll send the email it redirects the "cant login?" button to my new account, not a help menu or anything. So I decide to try customer service, I send them a help thing thing and get a response. They just want me to verify I own the account, and send an email to the email on it. I've logged in plenty of times before with it before it screwed up so I thought it should go through, but I was wrong. I email them back, send the email I think it's connected to to see if maybe there's a misspelling or anything. they say that they understand I want to change the email with my account, and that I do not own the old account, bye. Like wtf man, not a SINGLE other way to verify? maybe go to see what steam the game is linked to? Like, the one I put in the original email. Gah, Idek, that company could not be worse. Why does my game have to be set in stone on an account I didn't even buy it on? Why do I have to be forced through their website when I own it on steam? So fucking stupid
