I don't have time for that. Maybe two hours weekly max.
Got ruthless about what I look at. Can't understand the business in five minutes, move on. Stock charting shows freefall for years with no turnaround reason, move on. Thesis requires three things going right, move on.
I keep a watchlist in valuesense, check it maybe twice a week, that's about it because it includes metrics, the intrinsic value, quality ratings, intrinsic value as well. What's left is usually boring. Simple businesses, reasonable prices, nothing exciting. Funny thing is returns have been solid. Makes me think lots of research is procrastination dressed as work.
Anyone else invest with basically no time? What's your process for filtering stock ideas quickly?
