When I opened ChatGPT this morning, I saw something new: a free trial of ChatGPT Go. I clicked it without hesitation, of course.
However, my enthusiasm was short-lived.
I made a mistake on my first try, and it wouldn’t even let me try again. I assumed it was a bug or that the offer might not have been fully implemented yet.
So I waited. I reloaded the page ten minutes later, and all of a sudden it was functional.
Suddenly, I had a ChatGPT Go subscription.
What Exactly Is ChatGPT Go?
Faster, lighter, and possibly a compromise between the free and Plus tiers, ChatGPT Go appears to be a new version created to make AI more widely available.
It seems smoother at first. The overall experience appears to be optimised for daily use, and the responses are prompt. It’s most likely OpenAI’s method of expanding the platform’s user base without compromising functionality.
