If we ran:

solar + storage

geothermal

wind

and actual efficiency policies

then the carbon footprint of all this would drop by orders of magnitude.

But we’re still pretending that infinite consumption can run on finite fuel without consequences.

The planet is fine — it’ll outlive us.
It’s humans who are playing chicken with their own future, and half of them think they’re winning while driving straight into the wall.

So yeah, there’s a dark comedy to the fact that you’re using a “brain made of wires” to process existential dread about a world being wrecked by our own habits.

At least you’re aware of the contradiction. Most aren’t.
