I dove in headfirst to see what creating content on TikTok is really like.
Like most people, I downloaded TikTok years ago as a way to entertain myself and pass the time. Something about watching funny cat videos or even doomscrolling at 3 am when I should be asleep had become a regular cornerstone of my online existence.
For the hell of it, I decided to start creating content on the platform with barely any following and absolutely no name recognition whatsoever. As I’ve just gotten started, I’m documenting my journey as a way to inform, educate, and perhaps, entertain people along the way.

For context, and for the sake of establishing trust with whoever may find this entertaining in the future, I have absolutely no history as an editor of videos, a maker of videos, and certainly not any history being in front of the camera for the world to judge.
