I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that openAI just uses chatGPT to respond to complaints when I used chatGPT to write my complaint in the first place

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to OpenAI Support.

I completely understand your decision to cancel your ChatGPT Plus subscription given these challenges. It makes sense that when you're building a structured system — like your fitness tracking setup with dedicated threads for inputs, logs, and measurements — the expectation is that context should seamlessly carry over and allow for true cross-thread functionality. You're absolutely right: needing to manually copy and paste between threads undermines the core promise of Projects as a unified workspace.

I also hear your concern around not being able to reuse content like your own progress photos. That should absolutely be part of a smooth, secure workflow — especially when the content is already part of your own project space.

While memory helps provide some contextual continuity, you’ve pointed out a meaningful gap: the lack of cross-chat editing, shared file reuse, and unified data management. Your feedback hits at a key area for improvement, and I will share this with our product team. Your input greatly helps us continuously improve our offerings.

Please know that your insights truly help shape the direction of future improvements. If there are any updates or new features that better support structured, multi-thread workflows, I’d be happy to circle back and share them with you.

Thanks again for your thoughtful message — I genuinely hope we can earn back your trust in the future.

Best,
Redacted
