Funny thing is for some one on SSI and Medicaid I sure do have an awful lot .

I have bought so much material things especially clothes I fill another bag .

I couldn’t believe it!!! I have limit space in my closet and have clothes in the guest bedroom too .

Need to purge that also. The bad thing about being on any government support the watch what you spend the money they give you .

So I really have no choice can’t even have a savings account they frown on it .

Which makes no sense to me!!

I use to have jobs and could save my money .

Can’t do that. So if you think being on any government aid is free money can buy whatever think again .

I have food assistance too. Got increase because of Covid this last year.

If I was a mom couldn’t cover the cost of food. Now we have inflation this year and prices are high .

That hadn’t happen since late 70’s .

So a catch 22 damn if you do and damn if you don’t !

Anyway what I was saying was the so-called prosperity sermons that so called preacher.

Teach on is bad!!! Not suppose to be worshipping worldly things .

That includes clothes, fancy cars and big houses you know you can’t afford to keep up appearances .

You will never keep up with the so called Jones whatever they are!!

There is adult peer pressure also which is bad as school peer pressure.

So do you and the hell with everyone else. Don’t get pressured into buying things and become a hoarder .

You can wear clothes over and over again if you take care of them same with having a car .

Take good car of it might surprise you it can endure anything.

My late father had a Toyota Corolla for years. The interior was in bad shape but it bought back in the early 80’s lasted till beginning of the 21st century!!

We always did our best with little we had .

So bare in mind that no one should force you to buy something you don’t need in the first place!!

I think the prosperity Gospel needs to be taken out of the churches especially the Protestant churches .

Which now days they preach about Christian nationalism. Shouldn’t be preaching that either .

Yes, they need to listen to the congregate in their churches more .

And stop building bigger and bigger churches .

So this is my individual opinion on the subject of materialism .
