I want to switch from ChatGPT Pro to Gemini Advanced, but one App feature is stopping me.

Hopefully, someone from the Gemini team sees this.

I am a current ChatGPT Plus subscriber, really wanting to switch to Gemini Advanced. I really want to pay for the subscription today, but the user experience in the Gemini Mobile App (specifically Voice Mode) makes it unusable for me.

The Dealbreaker:
The Speech-to-Text "endpointing" is far too aggressive. If I pause for even a second to think, the app cuts me off and auto-sends the prompt before I am finished. This completely ruins voice typing.

The Fix:
Please implement a voice typing toggle on/off button that never auto-sends. I need the ability to tap a button, speak freely with natural pauses, and tap again to send just like ChatGPT.

Other Friction Points:

  1. Transcription Quality: The accuracy lags behind competitors.
  2. Ecosystem Sync: Conversations in Google AI Studio do not sync with the Gemini App, creating a disjointed experience.

If you update the Voice Mode to allow for natural pauses without auto-sending, I will cancel my ChatGPT subscription and switch to Gemini immediately. Please take my money; just fix the UX.

Does anyone else get bugged by this awful UX?
