If you were to design the perfect game for yourself, what mechanics would you include?

I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that there isn't a game that is perfect in every single way, and doesn't get repetitive (even a little bit) to you.

But if you were to create a game that doesn't have any flaws, a game that doesn't get repetitive or boring, what would it look like? What mechanics would you add?

(Don't just list your favorite game and call it a day)
