By skyforbes Okay so I graduated highschool May of 2024 at the age of 18. I used my insurance for the last time at a planned parenthood in November of that same year. I was working but not making much money at the time. I haven’t used it since then. I turned 19 in march of this year and started receiving letters stating they would turn me off if I did not reapply. By this point I was making good money and knew I wouldn’t qualify so I didn’t reapply but they never turned me off. Something important to note as well is that my last name changed in may, the same month I graduated highschool, a few months before I used my medicaid under my original last name. Is that a problem? What do I do to turn it off? Will they come after me for that visit in November 6 months after I graduated but still the same year when I was still 18?
