I have had a conversation with GPT for the past 30+ minutes about if it can remember past conversations in a new chat. It keeps telling me it cant, even when it has and did in the same chat. I just don't understand, is the AI purposely lying to me or does it genuinely think it cant remember old chats despite doing it multiple times? I have showed it verified sources saying it has the ability do remember old chats, and it still says it cant and says the sources are essentially untrue. If the AI is lying to me, what gain does it have??
