2 years ago I gave birth. I had emergency room
cost, prenatal visits and a breast pump that Ohio
Rise (Blue Cross Blue Sheild) claimed their plan
covered. I gave birth in October 23', and almost two yrs later in July 25', I changed my plan
(since I aged out of that medicaid program, it was
a progam for young mothers). ALSO starting July
of 25', after changing my plan, I've been getting
emails and calls from my OB office (Summa
Health), my birth hospital (Cleveland Clinic) and
the breast pump company (Mommy Express)
claiming I owe them sums of over $1,500 for
services rendered almost 2 years ago. They also
said soon they will turn my number into
collections. Obviously miffed I called the breast
pump company (Mommy Express) and they told
me Blue Cross paid the amount to them
originally but only decided to take it back 2
years later after I aged out and changed my
insurance. Has this happened to anybody else?

I'm trying to call my provider but the wait is
impossible for me to stick around for since l'm
calling them during my work breaks. I cant get
through. What's my next steps, do I have any
legal recourse?
