Was scrolling Instagram last night and I came across this post on this account I follow that posts creepy stuff/memes clip accounts, and they posted that hallway scene from Session 9 , the one where the guy is running as the lights shut off behind him. Instantly unlocked a memory when I was just thinking about that scene
I suddenly remembered watching this movie years ago with my mom a house back and I was quite young, back when we used to watch a ton of horror movies together. I barely remembered the plot, just the feeling it left me with. Seeing that clip again brought me back.
I definitely want to revisit it now as an adult. Sick setting (a real abandoned hospital) psychological horror instead of jump scares, the therapy tapes (forgot about those till looking up the movie) all of it. Feels like it’d be one of those movies you don’t fully “get” until you’re older.
Wondering your guys thoughts on that movie and if you’ve revisited Session 9 as an adult, did it hit any different? I can only remember bits and pieces of it from watching as a kid.
